Solinso is a manufacturer/supplier of Mystiek solar roof tiles and not a construction or installation company. Because Mystiek combines a solar panel function with a roof tile function, integration into a roof is not self-evident. A Mystical solar roof tile falls through the cracks a bit, because a roofer cannot or does not want to take responsibility for the electrical part. And the electrician or solar energy specialist often has insufficient knowledge about the dimensions of roofs and roof tiles.

That is why Solinso likes to work with parties that control both the construction and installation processes. Are you a solar technician with knowledge of roofs? SALES PHASE

The sales process usually starts with a customer contacting Solinso. This leads to a technical design via an orientation phase and an in-depth step. With installation partners it is possible to have the transfer moment take place earlier. After all, a local point of contact is more convenient for private individuals and it is therefore more logical that the Mystiek solar power installation is installed by a local partner.

Solinso helps with this by transferring knowledge about the sales, design and realization of Mystiek installations.

WORK PREPARATION AND EXECUTION

In the preparation phase of the work, it is important to attend a construction team meeting in which various construction aspects are discussed. As a Solinso installation partner, you provide input for this during the work consultation.

  • Determining the final hood design and releasing it for production. As a Solinso installation partner, you provide feedback to the contractor before the roof drawing becomes final. You look at batten height, batten spacing/batten distribution, ventilation and any roof foil.
  • Roof tiles are usually ordered by the contractor. It is therefore necessary to coordinate the type of roof tile and accessories (half roof tiles, ventilation tiles) so that the contractor knows how many and which roof tiles need to be ordered.
  • As a Solinso installation partner, you ensure the correct electrical preparations in the home. You think along with the electrician. This involves laying empty pipes between the meter cupboard and the location of the inverter. But also the route of the string cabling from the roof surface to the location of the inverter.
  • The electrician installs the earth leakage circuit breaker in the meter cupboard, installs the cabling up to a maintenance switch (including protective earth) at the location of the inverter and provides the group in the distribution box with the correct stickers. The electrician must also include the provisions for an Ethernet connection, which provides data access to the inverter. A Solinso installation partner ensures that these actions are carried out.
  • An inverter requires physical space of, for example, (hxw) 100 cm x 75 cm with an maintenance switch mounted underneath. This space must be reserved by the contractor.

Prior to installation, cooperation with the roofer will be coordinated. The technical design is expanded with an electrical string plan.

  • It is desirable to place the roof tiles and solar roof tiles together on the roof because of the mutual dependency on size. If necessary, Mystiek can be laid prior to the roof tiles, provided that Mystiek is laid out in the correct roof tile size. The roofer must/can then connect the roof tiles seamlessly to Mystiek.
  • After installing Mystiek, it is important to test the operation of the installation. After all, the inverter is installed – in new construction – just before delivery, and that can be months later. If an error is detected at that time, the roof is no longer accessible.

Finally, the installation is put into operation.

  • During roof renovations, the installation of Mystiek solar roof tiles and the installation of the inverter can take place simultaneously. Reading the inverter via the internet can usually also be adjusted directly.
  • In new construction, this is only possible after the grid operator has installed electricity to the home. Shortly afterwards, the inverter is installed and the solar roof tiles can actually start supplying power.
  • The new-build home is often only provided with an internet connection months after completion. From that moment on, it will also be possible to read the energy production of the solar panels via an App. As an installation partner, you can choose to leave this to the customer or take care of it yourself.
